Where the journey begins.
Level I is your introduction to Reiki — to the energy itself, to your own capacity to work with it, and to the discipline and philosophy that distinguishes Jin Kei Do from other forms of Reiki practice.
Jin Kei Do is a deeply spiritual lineage of Reiki rooted in Buddhist wisdom and transmitted through a direct teacher-to-student line. At M&H Wellness, we teach exclusively within this lineage. There are many forms of Reiki in the world — Jin Kei Do is one of the most disciplined and spiritually grounded, placing equal emphasis on the inner development of the practitioner as on technical healing skill.
Your Level I training includes your first attunement — a sacred ceremony between teacher and student that opens your capacity to channel Reiki energy. Following your attunement, a 21-day integration period begins, during which daily self-practice is encouraged.

The right student for this level.
Level I is for anyone drawn to energy healing who has no prior Reiki experience, or who wishes to begin formally within the Jin Kei Do lineage. You do not need a background in healing, spirituality, or any related field — only an open mind and a genuine intention.

Entry requirements and what you receive.
Prerequisites
No prior Reiki training is required for Level I. This is your starting point.
Prior Reiki Certification from Another Lineage
If you have been certified in another form of Reiki and wish to train with us, a qualification check with Mabel or Heinrich is required before enrolment. Not all Reiki certifications are compatible with Jin Kei Do lineage training — we will assess your prior learning and advise on the right entry point for you.
On Completion
You will receive your Level I attunement in a sacred ceremony with your teacher. A Jin Kei Do Reiki Level I certificate is awarded upon completion, confirming your initiation into the lineage and your qualification to practice Reiki at this level.
