It believes in the KISS principle and as soon as things get complicated it is easy to lose focus and to stop seeing both the big picture and the steps to get to the result. Often people get distracted when they do not have a roadmap. Knee jerk reactions are commonplace that stifles creativity which in turn has a long-term effect on the innovation of organisations.
Applying people to their strengths are one of the ways to achieve long term success. It is not news that in teams various personalities bring various skills to the table, however, not many people apply their team structures in this way. Rigid structures and on the other side of the coin no boundaries often leave teams paralysed unable to deal with the tasks at hand. Teams need to trust not only their leader, but also each other in order to be the soundboard that all of us so desperately need to bounce ideas around.
